At Earth Works studio in Amsterdam there is a vinyl cutting machine. Whilst cutting copies of Temporal Flux it occurred to us that a 'negative' of the music was also being made...

The Video for Temporal Flux is an abstract artwork created from the string (swarf) extracted from a vinyl record being cut with the music from Temporal Flux. So when you watch this video you can tickle your temporal cortex by actually watching what you are listen to.

Further nerdological details

(The diamond cutting stylus on a record cutting lathe receives vibrations from the sound of the music & with the correct weight leaves a groove in the record which carries the music - The swarf in the form of an unbroken string & is extracted from the blank record.

When the diamond vibrates & cuts, the swarf is extracted from the record, & a pattern is left behind in the groove of the record carrying the music.

In (our creatively-stoned-haze) theory, the swarf represents the negative of the music itself, & therefore, (in theory), when you see the video to Temporal Flux you are also watching the music as well as listening to it).
